- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
- Using an electric mixer or stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Allow the cookies to cool before decorating with your favorite icing or sprinkles.
