Meatball Stew Pioneer Woman

If there's one thing that I love more than a good meal, it's a meal that's both easy to make and absolutely delicious. That's why I'm excited to share one of my favorite recipes with you today – Pioneer Woman Meatballs! These meatballs are simple to put together but pack a ton of flavor, making them the perfect weeknight meal or party appetizer. And for an extra special treat, I'm showing you how to use them to make some delicious cheesy sliders!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Slider buns
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce

How to Make It:

To start, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Use your hands to mix everything together until well combined.

Next, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1.5-2 inches in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. You should end up with around 24-30 meatballs.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until they're cooked through and lightly browned on the outside. While the meatballs are cooking, you can prepare the cheesy sliders.

Cheesy Slider Recipe:

  • Slider buns
  • Pioneer Woman Meatballs
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce

To make the sliders, slice the slider buns in half and place them on a baking sheet. Top each bun half with a meatball, a spoonful of marinara sauce, and a generous helping of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place the sliders in the oven with the meatballs and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve the sliders hot and enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

  • You can also make these meatballs ahead of time and freeze them for later use. Simply freeze the uncooked meatballs on a baking sheet until they're frozen solid, then transfer them to a freezer bag or container. To cook, thaw the meatballs in the refrigerator overnight, then bake as directed.
  • Feel free to use your favorite type of cheese for the sliders – cheddar, provolone, or even pepper jack would all work well!
  • If you want to make these meatballs even more special, try adding some chopped herbs like basil or parsley to the mixture. Yum!
